☀️Summer and transitions
Next Friday, June 5th you can go straight from my photo tour to Blues Fest in Millennium Park and really kick off your Chicago summer!
Come take a walk with me in Chicago's loop where we'll check out some hidden gems of architecture and public art, and I'll share my phone photography guiding principles. I've got Friday and Saturday afternoon dates set up June-November. Hope to see you on a tour soon!

I've been thinking a lot about life's transitions...
My kiddo graduates from 8th grade next week, so I've been thinking a lot about time and transitions. Like, he was JUST a toddler and now he's a teen. He doesn't physically need me as much as he once did (thank goodness... and newer parents, you've got this!) His needs have changed and shifted, as have my own. We had some family and friends over last weekend to celebrate, and it was the first time many guests had seen or spent time with my kiddo's dad in a decade. So much has changed in those ten years, especially since COVID.
I don't have any big revelations except that time is weird.
Photos below are from our impromptu afterschool trip to the Art Institute to catch the last days of the Matisse Jazz exhibit.

Group phone photography workshops
I led a group phone photography workshop earlier this month for a church group, where we walked around their church campus, both indoors and outdoors, and worked through my guiding principles of phone photography. Then I had a one on one nature walk session with someone who'd missed the group, but wanted some tips before heading off on a European hiking trip. Both were fun in different ways, and I'm really loving this line of work.
Want to bring a workshop like this to your retreat, team offsite, family reunion, other event? Best for groups of 5-15. Reply to this email and let me know!

Try out a week of Jennie + Meredyth
As a female solopreneur for the past 4 years, I have thoroughly benefitted from working through business and life stuff with both group and one on one coaching. I am currently benefitting from having signed up for "All In, All Year" with the dynamic duo of Jennie & Meredyth. I get weekly, monthly, and quarterly group check-ins with them, as well as the other members, and it has absolutely benefitted my work and, honestly, my wellbeing.
They're offering a full free week of goodies in their Open House June 1-5. Check out the details here. https://www.jennieandmeredyth.com/openhouse
